Trying again . . .

. . . to get back to regular blogging. I was so fed up with the previous layout that I didn't want to look at it again!  So thought I'd start a new blog, and in fact have set one up.  There is one post in it and maybe now I've managed to change this blog again it will stay that way!  I quite like this new look, except for the size of the heading background.  I can't find how to reduce the size to a more moderate rectangle.  Please can anyone out there help me?
